My name is DJ Mexi of the Hired Goons / $2 Scratchies / 45 Fan Club.
Since 1996 I’ve been collecting and mixing Hip-Hop, House, Reggae, Funk and everything in between.
Beginning in Australia and continuing with my current residence in the USA, I’ve had the honor and good fortune to open for some of my favorite artists and DJs, including Blackalicious, Devin the Dude, Latyrx, Rock Steady Crew, DJ Q-Bert, DJ Krush, the Resin Dogs, Bronx Dogs, Krafty Kuts, Hilltop Hoods, DJ Cash Money and more.
Always on the hunt for music both new and old, I love discovering new sounds and meeting like minded DJs and collectors to discuss records, breaks, scratching and mixtapes.
Featured here are a collection of mixes and improvised live sets spanning the last 20+ years, recorded (mostly) from vinyl, with new mixes added regularly.
