Metasonic is the psychedelic DJ project of Sidney van Dyk.

Since first being exposed to psychedelic trance music and culture in 2009 I fell head over heals in love with both.

I believe that the psychedelic trance journey at it's roots is one of the most liberating and freeing experiences one can have. Be it progressive day-time to Full-on night time to Darkpsy etc, etc, etc and all the myriad of genres in between. The journey it takes you within your own consciousness and who you are after experiencing this journey of sound and self is what made me fall in love.

Hence the name, Metasonic(meta - after / sonic - sound) is a tribute to that place in all of us that we reach after being taken on a psychedelic sound journey.
