Mattsmetalandrock

Born in the early 70's and fell in love with guitars and drums and rock music at an early age. Found musical path seriously at 12/13 and consumed regularly thanks to Kerrang!, Tommy Vance, older brothers, album artwork and Shades adverts for the next 10 years or so. Then life properly happened, musical tastes developed and changed and priorities and situations dictated haircuts and a rest from 'current' metal. This allowed for appreciation of other genres and styles ranging from jazz and blues to indie, banda, cumbia, baggy, traditional Irish and dancey electronic, expanded personal musical education and well, I've arrived at a point in life where I like to use music as an access point to memories and where things are reverting back to the 70's and 80's musically, at least they are for me. I'm saluting those about to rock, running to the hills, shouting at the devil and barking at the moon whilst holding down a regular job, eating sensibly and losing more hair than I want. Please enjoy
