Matthias and Robinson met on the dance floor in 2005, and started collaborating almost immediately playing DJ sets together in many venues around Los Angeles and the west coast. In the studio they developed their style of tech driven melodic trance that eventually birthed a hit : Acid Rain which Christopher Lawrence played on his global 2008 tour later released on a compilation by Fektive. Following this venture, they explored sounds separately for a few years with Matthias producing electronic music for television and underground trance projects and Robinson remixing productions for world renowned artists such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Keri Hilson, Flipsyde , Paul Oakenfold, Hillary Duff, Donald Glaude, Weezer, All American Rejects and Armin van Buren.
