MatthewCSHughes (formally known as 2tone on the garage scene) was born on 11th Jan 1982, is a Pop/Soul/funk/R&B singer, songwriter, composer, producer and sound designer.

Matthew started singing and performing when young, being influenced by MJ, listening to his records in his bedroom, often for hours at a time, then later, getting friends together to form a group, practice and rehearse.

Although wanting to pursue music earlier in life, he was always pushed away from this but then at the age of 17 he went to his first karaoke night, where an already formed band approached Matthew after being dazzled by his version of 'End of the Road' by Boyz 2 Men.

The band went through a few different line ups until eventually the members were concreted and the band was given it's name, 'Touch' at which point they started writing songs together and training with another well known band, Another Level's vocal coach, Kevin Leo, eventually writing unsigned for Sony, but the band sadly fell apa
