Matts first love for house music began at the age of 15 after stumbling across John Digweeds Journys by Dj's mix-tape. It was this discovery that led to him buy his first pair of belt driven Soundlab DLP1600 turntables and also began his love affair with progressive house. After spending many an evening locked in his bedroom, and a few days bunked off school, Matt plucked up the courage to send off a few mix tapes. It was a tape sent to the promoter of a local club which gave him his first residency at the age of 16. During this residency Matt was able to play alongside the likes of Paul Taylor (Retro), Buckley (Tall Trees), FC Kahuna and Ian Ossia.

Matt also recently came runner up in IDJ mag Raw Talent Competition judged by Jody Wisternoff, Riva Starr and Deepgroove. 'A slick, well selected mix with a progressive slant.... A solid package' (IDJ Mag - 'Raw Talent')
