1994 - Matt’s first love for house music began in 94 at the age of 15 after stumbling across John Digweed’s Journeys by DJ's mix-tape. It was this discovery that led to him to buy his first pair of turntables and also began his love affair with Progressive House. After spending many an evening locked in his bedroom, and a few days bunked off school, Matt plucked up the courage to send off a few mix tapes. It was a tape sent to the promoter of a local club, which gave him his first residency at the age of 16. It was during this residency Matt was able to spin alongside the likes of Paul Taylor (Retro), Buckley (Tall Trees), FC Kahuna and Renaissance legend Ian Ossia.
