Finding my DJ feet again after a way too long break!
Like many of us, music has been a massive part of my life, with influences from many genres, however soul, disco, funk, jazz have always been the main-stays of what I like, which led to electronic sounds of the early and mid 80's through to the tidal wave that is house music in it's many forms today.
I remember getting my first mixer, added simple two-channel affair in the mid 80's and tied it together with a couple of belt driven turntables, later replaced with 1210's and a better mixer when I started earning!
Played on local pirate station for a while, did a few gigs in bars, a couple of pubs and various spots during the whole rave scene.
Having never lost that love for music and what DJ's can do with modern technology, its time to dig in the crates and put what I learned all those years ago back into practice!
