Mapsarefiction are but a threesome from South Shields. They first met each other in a butchers shop in 1992. Since those early life experiences amongst the dead animal carcasses their paths have crossed, uncrossed and crossed again when Jordon was asked to join John and Andrew in a last ditch musical experiment.

Having been in various bands together since their teens, John and Andrew had exhausted all the other musical personnel in the North of England that would work with them. Demanding, awkward and stubborn they have finally found peace and thus the desire to make as much noise as physically possible with a mere three people.

Their debut EP has now been completed and is ready for human consumption (Summer release).
