The 47-year-old came into contact with music at an early age through his siblings.
Until around the mid-80s, his musical perception was influenced by bands such as The Rolling Stones or The Beatles. From this, Manu Silver developed his first own taste in music, which ranged from the Beasty Boys to Body Count to Marius Müller-Westernhagen and Udo Lindenberg, although bands like Kraftwerk (e.g. "Das Model") also aroused his interest at this time. Impressive for him, he noticed again and again what emotional purgatory can be triggered in a person by music. Through friends, the first intensive contact with electronic music followed at the end of the '80s. With WestBam tracks like "And Party..."(1989) or "The Roof Is on Fire" began his passion for electronic music, which continues to this day.
