Producer, composer, and strayed DJ who recently reconnected with the art of spinning. A devotee of electronic music from my youth in Athens’ Jungle and Techno parties, I was initiated into Manchester’s free-party culture in the early 2000s, and became a regular player at clubs, squats, and teknivals with North West based soundsystems. In the past decade, my work focused on the synergy between sonic and performance arts, creating interactive sonic arts pieces in collaboration with dancers, actors, performance artists, and circus acts. I have published several peer-reviewed papers on polydisciplinary collaboration, digital technologies in music-making, and the aesthetics of symbiosis. My recent work explores the latest iteration of turntablist communities and the emerging practice of controllerism.
