Stephan 'Mandrax's tribulations through music started in Lausanne in the mid 80's as a pioneer DJ for electronic music in Switzerland. He went on to live in New York for a few years to produce music & tour. He then moved back to Europe in 2000 to continue on his expanding musical adventures as half of Shakedown. Throughout his career Stephan has been involved in countless musical projects as a producer, remixer, DJ, consultant, lecturer, label owner, book publisher, restaurant owner/eater, head of popular music at music university, radio show host & programmer, etc.
