Jerome Davis (aka Mandid Music) is a music producer, DJ and audio engineer based out of Lexington Park, Maryland.Jerome's music of choice is steeped in downtempo, electronica and hip hop instrumentals that contain equal doses of dance, experimental and club sounds. Many of the early songs were created to accompany surfing and skateboarding videos. Though as a self-taught musician constantly looking for ways to defy conventional music theory, Jerome refuses to be compartmentalized and bound by traditional forms of musical expression. In order to bridge the gap between the melodic hip hop and electronic instrumentals, Jerome combines years of hip hop, rap, cinema sounds and electronic music experience with a forward thinking mindset.
