Magic Mountain are a blend of dreampop, shoegaze, post-punk and melodic distortion.

Formed from the ashes of a band called This Dumb Desire in Nottingham in 2010, a casual jam session by James and Ash led to a few songs and a distinctive sound, a cross between The Big Pink and Joy Division. A little later they were joined by keyboardist and flautist Sarah. Magic Mountain was born.

Magic Mountain have gigged in London (via Symptomatic Presents) and Nottingham. Their music has been released on BFW Recordings and has been played on London radio station, Optical Zoo.

Their new EP "An Ordinary Young Man" is out now on iTunes and Bandcamp.
