Being born and raised in Cairo, Egypt made it easy for MAG.D to quickly fall in love with EDM. Back in 2000, Cairo had a growing sub-culture of EDM, when Trance was dominating the scene, and this where it all started. In 2002, he shifted his style from Trance to Progressive House, after being influenced by the masters ; Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. In 2006, he took a step forward, when he decided to mix all of his favorite tracks in 1 set. After he was praised for his work, he decided to keep going with his passion and share his sound with everyone. MAG.D has his own series on SoundCloud "Basement Sessions". He's also a regular guest DJ at "Change My Life" show on TM radio , hosted by Tercsab. MAG.D is now taking a second step; building up his own music, and we should expect his debut production soon.
