“If it sounds good I’m into it." - Seyi (Dj SM). His music selections depend on a given event. He plays global top-40s, dance rhythms, house, Latin, reggae, trance, classic soul, rock, African beats, hip-hop/RnB and more. DJ SM is a New Yorker and originally from Africa. He started out as a professional DJ in the 90s doing private parties and clubs events in Africa’s most populous city of Lagos.
And he continued after migrating to United States. Over the years, Dj SM have organized special events and done private, club, and mobiles gigs across the country.
His earlier inspiration came from legendary DJs such as America's David Morales, Louie Vega, & Cool DJ Red Alert; Europe's Tiesto, Carl Cox, & Francois K; and Nigeria’s Ben Omagie, JAJ, & Donald Lee.
