MUTUMAZU - Monthly Podcast

In a myth of Kebalan, one of the indigenous tribes of Taiwan, Mutumazu was one of the first two ancestors of mankind. The myth is associated with the origin of humanity and the beginning of human civilization as well as the first instances of
important human rituals such as rites of passage and healing ceremonies.

Naming ourselves after a character in the myth of Taiwanese aborigine, we acknowledge Taiwan as the starting point of our adventure and will be attempting to harvest the fruit of creativity, healing and sharing. By not forgetting our root while keep experimenting and exploring, we hope to grow as a whole and release our spores to the world.

Mutumazu，在噶瑪蘭族語裡的意思是「創始女神」，她的故事與人類的起源和生產活動相關連，也是成巫儀式、巫師治療儀禮等重要生命儀式的起源故事。

以台灣原住民族傳統神話中的角色為團隊命名，我們嘗試從孕育了我們的島嶼土地出發，重新尋覓一股單純創造、療癒與分享的生命能量。將對於土地與音樂的熱愛作為根源，如同植物般向內凝聚也同時向外聯結延伸，不斷摸索、實驗、創造屬於Mutumazu的次元。
