MUNDO DISKO is a Queer festive event and a tribute to an ever federating musical genre, to a forgotten cultural phenomenon, to hedonistic rituals and to the legendary nights of clubbing! Like the true nocturnal soundtrack of counter-culture, of social movements, of the homosexual revolution, the Disco genre is, beyond the clichés, an avant-garde and inclusive music with roots in both the Afro-American musical legacy and the European sound aesthetic. It is a blend of world influences, of organic mixing, with sometimes synthetic sounds and mechanical rhythms. Disco is the cornerstone on which lies the foundation of all the modern music (electro/house/techno) that keeps the planet on its feet today!
