An emerging movement of Pacific Northwest underground dance musics, MOTOR is bringing together similarly minded producers and DJs from Seattle and beyond, creating a burgeoning wake in the local scene and helping put the region on the experimental dance radar.
Debacle Records launched MOTOR soon after as a sister label to release 12” singles, recognizing a demand for representation of the new swell of producers. MOTOR is made up of a collective of musicians, artists, DJ’s, engineers, and facilitators.
