Selecta Lyan from the Swiss Alps began his career in the reggae and dancehall scene. Before long, he realized he didn’t want to limit himself to a single genre and started blending a wide range of musical styles into his sets. By collecting remixes and rare tracks, he gradually shaped his own distinctive sound.

As a long-time member of the Iglu Bar at the Open Air Gampel festival, he brought fresh energy to the local music scene. Together with his collective Klipp & Klang, he organized numerous events and performed at a variety of parties and venues.

Over time, Lyan increasingly shifted his musical focus toward breakbeat, glitch hop, and ghetto funk. More recently, he has also developed a strong passion for drum & bass, further expanding his dynamic and versatile style.
