"Lu York (Aka Luis Paulino) was born in Queens, Ny back in the early 90's at the right place and the right time. Surrounded by many different styles of music and people, Lu York absorbed the mixed culture that started his love for music and began to put back what he took in. House Music has been the top influence in the sounds produced by Lu York as well as Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, and many other styles. With releases on Divnation/Hauz Records, a single on Crazy Monk Record's first VA album, another single on a VA release from Melodymathics, free downloads on Spira and remixes on Igua Vacara Muuusic, Guerilla Records and Melodymathics, including EPs on the last two labels (respectively), and another EP on Crazy Monk Records, more music is expected from the New York native."
