Biografie:
Lion Roar Soundsystem from Dormagen was founded by Seb and Rob in 2007.
In 2009, the Sound has been paused for a half a year in order to work with Junior Dread and his High Noon Sound from Düsseldorf. After a view gigs, the common project came to an end and both sounds went their own way. At the end of 2012, Tonarm Tobi joined the Sound.
Besides the annual ‚Jailrock Open Air’ party at the Rhein Auen in Dormagen, Lion Roar Sound hosts the successful biweekly party “Roots and Rebel” at Underground club in Cologne.
Lion Roar Soundsystem convinces with entertainment and a carefully chosen selection of Roots Reggae, Rub A Dub, early Dancehall productions from the 80s and 90s, up to Modern Roots and newest Dancehall Tunes – thereby responding to their guests’ musical tastes.
