As an English Lit and Theater major - I am fascinated by the oral tradition of storytelling. From the first epic poems, Beowulf and the Iliad to the bedtime stories parents tell their children - mankind has passed down stories, poems, and songs through recitation. While there is a place for reading and analyzing poetry, its true purpose is to be shared orally - as such I wish to share with you.
