Although classically trained from a young age in instruments such as flute, oboe and piano, Luka felt that band camp was only teaching her half of the story. Early forays into the world of electronic music included obsessing over The Prodigy and Metalheadz in darkened rooms. Having finally broken free of her small town roots to live first in Glasgow then Edinburgh, Luka began her rise through the clubscene DJing at nights such as Dogma, /Slashdot. and Red Star Insitute.

Following a recent sabbatical a couple of years to regroup after a series of unfortunate events, Luka returns as resident DJ and general female influence at Edinburgh Techno Cartel <ETC> - an eclectic night ranging from dubstep and breaks, to techno, tekno, jungle and drum n bass.

Luka hates to be defined as fitting any one genre and enjoys mixing anything from minimal through to hardtek.

IMPORTANT Luka only plays VINYL!! If you want me at your club, be prepared to provide vinyl decks! (Preferably Technics)
