His good ear for music and wide selection of fresh hip hop and classic old school is what has kept him on the decks since the age of 16. He has earned a name as one of the most versatile and unique hip hop DJs, Playing everything from Electro, Funky House, Deep House, Dubstep, & Trap. His talent has secured his spot as the resident at 3 of Cape Town’s “World’s Finest Clubs”. Jade Lounge has been one of those Residencies for the past 9 years. LSD-J's style has been instrumental in earning Jade Lounge a reputation of the hottest spot for hip hop on Thursdays. From 2011 LSD-J was resident DJ at The Reserve until the club closed down in 2013, he Then moved to the beautiful Shimmy Beach Club where he played Friday and Saturday nights. LSD-J also held a residency at The latest Cape Town Club COCO, Owned by Ultra Music Festival South Africa curator Shaun Duvet until moving to Hamburg in Sept. 2016.
