A professional photographer, I fell into broadcasting by taking photos of a radio studio being built for Radio Dacorum, a community station based in Hemel Hempstead. One thing led to another and since March 2012 I have been presenting a weekly 3 hour show in which each track links to the next ending with a track that links to a person place or thing from the surrounding area. If the 'person' is a local band or musician, they choose a track that they particularly like or has influenced them and up to three of their own to either play live or play recordings of. Between the songs we have a conversation which is, I hope, entertaining and informative and touches subjects beyond the band or performer.
