King Owl is the sentient personae of an experimental alien audiochemical weapons system that crash-landed in Australia approximately twenty years ago. Quickly adopting the shape and mannerisms of the local inhabitants, he set about his mission of world domination through hypnotic neural reprogramming, using electronic dance music as a medium. Finding a comfortable void in the art of psychedelic trance, he/it/they had soon etched themselves a strong presence in the Perth underground scene, bringing with him years of experience and love for a wide range of genres, including jazz, blues, rock and roll, drum & bass and hip-hop. His true passion has always been for psytrance however, and he consistently brings that passion to his dancefloors with hard-hitting, energetic and complex full-on sets with a distinctly dark flavour.
