Overcoming addiction. With its pill logo, Kicking the Habit is a Franco-American duo that fuses shoegaze, dreampop, pop and rock genres for an indie hybrid blend. This combination reflects their unique sound, a fusion of the two artists who live in the Paris region.

Both artists have experience in a variety of genres, including pop, rock, post-punk, noise rock, electronica and folk, and have taken this opportunity to explore and experiment with a range of soundscapes and effects, embracing the freedom to follow the songs wherever they take them.

In this duo, Marko is mainly responsible for the compositions and Renée for the lyrics, but the roles are rarely so defined. They help each other find what's needed, when it is needed.
