Khâos & Nÿx was formed during the recording of the Raven X debut album "Essence Without Light". Due to the fact that the Raven X album was recorded as a two-piece, the duo was unable to perform the songs live. At this point, Khâos & Nÿx started playing acoustic covers out of a desire to interact musically in a live situation. At first, the members of Raven X only intended the project to be for personal satisfaction,but in time they decided the music was sounding too good to keep in the rehearsal room. To supplement the dynamics and fullness of the sound, guitarist Khâos added vocals to the mix and vocalist Nÿx augmented the songs with piano, keyboards, xylophone, tambourine and shakers. As the sound evolved, Khâos & Nÿx began playing songs outside of the normal acoustic style creating a unique set list that covers everything from classic and modern/grunge rock to 80's new wave and pop.
