Kevin Holt is a 22 year old sound artist. He is predominately an electronic dance music (EDM) producer, whose productions are inspired by the eclectic sounds of iconic 80’s synthesisers (Juno-60, Prophet 5, Jupiter 8) and chilled ibiza house of the 90’s which surrounded his childhood and shapes his individual sound, his latest track ‘Heatwave’ perfectly showcases his unique style of house. However through studying and achieving a 1st class honours degree in Music Production, Kevin is always exploring new disciplines or genres outside of his EDM persona; his new acoustic album ‘Can’t See The Forest For The Trees’ is a prime example of this and sees Kevin employ a stripped-down natural approach to songwriting and composition that echoes the unique style of his other work. Kevin has had his EDM productions used on all sorts of outlets from companies such as Solomon Freeski Finland, Aalto University and Hakema. Kevin has created a remake of Nokia’s iconic ringtone in his own style.
