Katya Gabeli had her first violin lesson at the age of 5. From then on, it seemed she just couldn't get enough: she kept on with the lessons for two more years and then entered a professional music school in her hometown of Moscow.
A few years before graduating she felt like she'd finally had enough and that it was time for a little switch. So, at the age of 16 Katya started as a radio DJ. After she graduated from the school, she entered Moscow Conservatory and also joined the DJ team at the new (and biggest) Russian dance radio station. There she began developing her mixing skills. During that period Katya was DJ-ing with live musicians and experimenting as a producer.

Finally, after a radio career of 8 years, Katya moved to the Netherlands where she obtained her degree in Music Production & Performance at the Utrecht School of the Arts. Freestyl...
