Karsten Alfermann (born 1964 in Paderborn in Germany) aka MaschinenMusik is a musician, composer and producer of electronic music. He lives today in Hannover Germany. In the nineties he played in various reggae and soccabands. At the beginning of the 2000s he started to produce electronic music (techno and dub reggae). Some of the early tracks can be heard on Youtube Mind-of-Primitive. After an artistic break, while he was busy with painting, in 2022 he started to produce electronic music again and publish it on Soundcloud, Spotify, Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Musik, Deezer and Tidal.
