Kakesi means "fire" in Lunda, a Zambian language. Kakesi started deejaying at the age of fifteen, eventually becoming a resident DJ at one of the hottest nightclubs in town. A musician and former singer for three bands, he has a unique take on blending beats and incorporating cultures. He primarily enjoys jamming 80/90's R&B-Funk, Salsa, Reggae (Dance Hall) and House Music (Gqom/Amapiano).
