Keith PJ Wako is a self-taught artist. Born in 1986 in Malawi, Wako grew up surrounded by musical influences -- his older brother Kenny (aka Kenny Klips) and his mother who played Motown classics on repeat.

Drawing on his love for his surroundings, Wako began his career in music as Divine Sense, emceeing to enthusiastic crowds in Zomba, Malawi in 1996. He is not modest when it comes to admitting that his love for music, and specifically the hip hop genre, is a product of his energy and drive to express his struggles as the last born in a family of three.

Wako produced beats which also led to successful collaborations with artists such as Blasto, Jabs, Sage Poet, Lioness, Macquan, YoSafe, Young Kay, Wisdom (Qodesh), UniQ One, Pleonazm, Krieyt, Spokesman, and JahMo. He credits 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Alchemist & Muggz, RZA, DJ Khalil, !ll Mind, Marco Polo, Stoupe, M Phazes, Nottz and Hi-Tek as his major production influences.
