Junction to humanity is a downtempo/electro duo project founded by the producer Giacomo Mattogno within the fertile musical circles of Berlin in early 2016.
The fundamental element of the compositions are continuous rhythm patterns and catchy bass lines, augmented with lead synths, guitar and voice.
The project unites different cultures, artistic influences and musical concepts . The main musical influences encompass a wide range of artists such as Beck, Alt J, Radiohead, Weval, Moderat.
They have played gigs in Berlin over the past year, including well-received support performances at Gretchen, Kantine Berghain, Maze, Karnival der Kulturen, Der Weiße Hase and more.
Recently, Junction to humanity got involved with Nordpath Record, releasing the track “Alter ego”.
Soon their first EP will be out.
