Jumpat has been spinning Drum and Bass music since 2000. Starting out in his home-town Oldenberg in North-West Germany he became a prominent guest on RudeboyFM. He later moved to Cologne and continued to play amongst local crews and club-nights.

His skill to create a vibe from scratch comes from a unique and intuitive ability to truly read a crowd, building atmosphere and connection time after time.

In 2005 the SUN AND BASS festival recognised this and invited him to Sardinia where he has been a resident DJ ever since. Another to notice and offer residency was Heiner Kruse, head of Basswerk, one of Germany’s most respected and longest standing Drum and Bass events.

In 2009 Jumpat began producing and released collabs with BTK on Cyanide and Basswerk, the tune “Enowen” (Basswerk Files) marks the start of his solo productions and led to further releases on labels such as Dutty Audio, Protect Audio, Delta9 Recordings and T3K to name a few.[...]
