Hailing from the Latgale province of Latvia, Judzhen has become one of the most sought after selectors in the capital Riga in a matter of a couple of years. In addition to having a busy DJ set calendar Judzhen is also developing his production skills – his first release on Datenbits Recordings entitled Desert Island (2014) featured remixes from the label boss Lomidze as well as Riga's techno visionary Girts Reiniks and Ukranian house head Alex Okrazo.
Even though he's a trained accordionist Judzhen is fixed on rhythm and percussion – from his sets to his production he's full of energy and flow, be it disco influenced or jazz influenced house – you'll always find yourself bouncing shoulders back and forth to an irresistible groove. 2020 saw the naming of a formation that was already there for years – when playing together Judzhen and Elvi Soulsystems are now officially called Riga Graduate School of Love.
