Jonboy's DJ style has evolved over the years to its current state as a driving hybrid of house, techno, acid house, and day-party disco beats. As a DJ, Jonboy is currently a resident of the DiscoKatz crew, well known in SF for their Sunday Disco Cabana day parties and their Burning Man camp as well. He is a former resident/promoter of the Freeform v. Dubalicious parties that ran for 7 years at both f8 and Shine in San Francisco. He has thrown a number of underground parties by himself, with the SWAG crew, and with former partner Robb Greene at various locations around SF. These include the notoriously sketchy Stillman space in SOMA SF which held many ridiculous parties and talented DJs throughout 2010-2011. During the summers of 2010-2012 & 2014-2015, he performed in the Opod at Burning Man for the Opulent Temple crew.
