Jon Salem started attending clubs in 2006 and ultimately bought his first set in the summer of 2008 and began experimenting around with the likes of Trance and Progressive House. As he continually to attended clubs to seek a variety of inspiration in sound, Jon worked diligently to refine his genre and learn his technique. At the end of 2010, Jon’s first break into the live and crowd orientation of DJ-ing was made by Detroit’s famed Dabura.

In his latest feats, Jon Salem has been a primary developer, creationist, and coordinator for a newly formed and greatly anticipated electronic music festival, called Drop Fest, in his hometown. For the festival, he has booked a variety of acts from around the state. He has a series of releases
