John Slender a.k.a John Kanakis from his childhood he was always involved in the fields of music. John started listening and searching electronic music at the age of 16. Then, at the age of 18 he started djing at parties and local bars. He quickly gained reputation because of his unique style. The following years John moved in the city of Thessaloniki where he inspired by the underground music scene. He enriched his style with more genres such as Techno, Dub Techno and Minimal sounds in general which made him more integrated as an artist. His sound now could be characterized deep with massive basslines, powerfull and dancy, with spacy elements and emotional vocals. His main priorities are the expression of his feelings and the music trip of his audience. His love for vinyl records and his recent occupation with music production is something worthwile to mention!
John is also a proud member and resident dj of the Subterranean Culture collective!
