Being Canadian, in our country French is considered by law to be our Second Language, so despite my geographical location "out west", Oui Oui’s tune was mostly understandable. Heck, in Quebec, Montreal is referred to as “La Ville”! Good to hear Bo DIddley (The Originator) in an album that was the followup to “Bo Diddley is a Gunslinger” and yes he was looing good!
Thanks Captain! I see you are catching up on some older shows. I'm glad you liked that Funky French tune, and I'm sure you understood far more of it than I did! But I love the groove. Rock on....
This is a ridiculously busy week for me. The week leading up to Halloween always is! ;) But this is exactly what I needed to get my day/week started! Thanks, Switchblade! 😎 Also. . . I LOVED Love and Rockets, Cab Calloway, Sterolab, John Cooper Clarke, Pylon, The Jesters, Motörhead, Shonen Knife, AWOL One & Mascaria, & Leadbelly! RIP Ace! 🖤
Thanks RLC! Well, I hope you have a howling good Halloween! 🧛♀️🎃 I'm glad you found so much to like on this show. I love how John Cooper Clarke introduces 'Spilt Beans': ""Split peas!" casual man, casual..." lol. 😎Rave on...
Highlights for me: "La Ville" by Oui Oui, Cab Calloway, Leadbelly, Shonen Knife. I don't have my usual detailed comments, but nonetheless, I urge you to "rock on."
Rockin' as usual! Now is it me, or did the singer for Love and Rockets sound a bit like Mick Jagger? That was my first impression when I heard the tune on your show, until I later realized it wasn't the Stones at all. Good show, as they say in the UK!
Thanks Mon Kapitan! Love And Rockets singer Daniel Ash does sound a bit Jaggerish, although I think Gaz Coombes of Supergrass sounds even more like Mick. Of course, I played the actual Jagger last week, lol. Have a great weekend!

Good morning from the UK. Love the show as always and John Cooper Clarke LEGEND.
Thanks Stuart! Yeah, JCC is the greatest -- "Casual, man, casual..."😃

Thanks Keith!
Oooo, Shonen Knife? You might be hearing them in next week's theme show!
Looking forward to it!😎
