When he began DJing in 2014 after having a keen interest in electronic music, watching sets from the likes of , Marco Carola, Latmun and Patrick Topping, Joey Fryer was inspired by the way they controlled a crowd and kept a constant uplifting vibe throughout their sets.

It was in 2018 that Joey secured his first residency every Friday at Tiger Tiger , providing a groovy house warm up in the white room, as time progressed so did Joey with getting sets for bigger events and bigger clubs in and around Newcastle like World Headquarters, Cosmic Ballroom, Greys Club, Perdu and Digital Newcastle. Being only 19 years of age , Joey has came a very long way and has shown that hard work does pay off and has supported many big names like Green Velvet, Sonny Fodera , Sam Divine , MK , Meduza , Jackmaster and Jasper James to name a few.
