Coming from New, Jersey, United States, Joe Genius has been djing since 1993. He attended The Institute of Audio Research (IAR) in NYC in 2003 and then started producing tracks for artists in the tri-state area under a local record label in New Jersey. He launched his own business, Chillfactor Entertainment in 2010 and has played at venues throughout New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia, PA. Joe Genius has an eclectic catalog of genres that he can play from 1950’s Rock and Roll to Hip-Hop and Latin House. Strong influences include DJ Jazzy Jeff and Kid Capri. His song selection and blending style is how JoeGenius can make your head nod and his positive vibe can’t help but make you feel good when listening to his sets. His new project, GeniusVisionMusic, was started to help launch his music on a social media platform where he can be viewed on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram and listened to on souncloud and mixcloud.
