Jodie Rose’s roots lie in Plymouth, once a hive of dance music. Introduced to hard house in her late teens, she has followed the music ever since. In 2015, Jodie began ‘Cosmix’, an event in Plymouth promoting local talent. These fun filled events brought together like minded music lovers. Through her choice to study Electronic Music Production at dBs Music college, she now lives in Bristol. Alongside DJing and production, she has plans for promoting future events, new talent and to share her love for Hard House in a new city. She is an enthusiastic member of the Ideal Academy and has represented Ideal by DJing at Summer Gatherings Festival 2017. Gaining experience DJing up and down the country, 2018 is an exciting year with big plans for the future. Her ‘cheeky but hard’ style draws inspiration from old and new with chopping stabs and bouncy grooves, keeping you on your toes.
