Jimmy Biz was born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn New York. At an early age he was exposed to the reality and hardships of life in a poverty stricken community. To help him through the struggles of his adolescence, Jimmy Biz turned to writing poetry, soon after he would merge his spoken words with music, his love for Hip-Hop was born. Music and rapping quickly took the place of Poetry, becoming his new creative escape. With versatile flows and a natural creativity, Jimmy Biz’s music pulls his listeners into the depth of his experiences through his clever wordplay and uncanny honesty in his lyrics. Jimmy Biz’s music reaches a new depth in the hip hop listening experience by touching topics that are all too often seen as too sensitive in the hip-hop genre.
