Jesus DJGC Velazquez

Jesus DJGC Velazquez is a DJ, producer and composer born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. His journey behind the turntables began in the 1980s, digging through records and discovering the breaks, grooves and sounds that shaped his musical ear.

That same love of discovery still drives his sets today. DJGC doesn't stay inside one genre or era, moving through funk, soul, breaks, hip-hop, R&B, disco, house, Latin, Afro and electronic sounds—connecting classics, forgotten records and new discoveries through the groove.

His recording history dates back to the late '80s with The Crazy 8 Posse on B-Boy Records and continued through years of producing, remixing and composing music for artists, television and other media.
