I was there in the mid 8-' when house and the Belleville 3 came on the scene. 35 years later I am still listening to both the classics and the new. Preferences are: Deep House (the real definition: half house, half Detroit techno, low to mid-tempo without lyrics), Detroit techno, progressive house, MidTown House, Acid Deep House (AKA Acid Groovy House), a little Proto House and Nu Disco, tech-house and other genres that don't insult my intelligence with overly masturbatory beats and silly lyrics (e.g. 'Oh babe, I wanna put my log in your fireplace', 'I'm young black and famous with money coming out of my anus', 'Shake it, shake it', 'Make that rump bounce'- utterly vile and base (not bass)). Favorite tracks: Strings of Life, Whistle Song, Can You Feel It (in the beginning there was Jack and Jack had a groove..) plus Can You Feel It MLK speech mix. These songs never grow old. Lately, I've been listening to KiNK, Hiroshi Watanabe, Ben Bohmer, Ame, Axel Bowman ...etc.
