Born in 1982, Jonathan Adams aka Dj JB International, heralds from the sub-economic area of Paarl in the Western Cape. Having an esteemed passion for music, Jonathan commenced his music career in primary school where he undertook..
At the age of 20, he worked at a family business and enrolled at Cape Audio College, where he studied towards a training course in Dj-ing. As fate had it, he met with Tony Smith aka Masta ‘G’, who determined his Dj influences.

Having completed his very first gig at The Lounge in Cape Town and after a few bloopers, JB International found his essence of life, ‘evoking emotion in people through the universal language of music’. In 2003 JB International entered and won the Baz Bar Dj competition at Cape Town’s infamous Dockside nightclub, a two night event where he out performed his competes.
