Jay the DJ started his career while in college at Bethune Cookman University back in 1999. He’d always had a love for music and he enjoyed the fact that he could change the vibe in a room just by his song selections. He started out at house parties around campus and after a few years he garnered enough experience to begin booking local venues, private parties, special events, and weddings in his hometown, around the Hampton Roads area, as well as in other cities in the state of Virginia. Although he‘s a full-time Navy Sailor, he has managed to keep his passion for music alive in every city he’s been stationed over the last 11 years. With more than 20 years of experience, Jay is committed to providing his clients with an unforgettable experience for their events. He still has the same passion for controlling the mood and vibe for every event, big or small!
