Janet Kopenhaver is an avid advocate for the Arlington arts industry and in this capacity founded and established the “Embracing Arlington Arts” citizens group whose mission is to inform others about the importance and diversity of the arts and arts organizations in our community; celebrate the critical contributions the arts make to all sectors of our County; and spread the word about the extremely diverse performance and cultural events held in Arlington. She previously served as the Chair of the Arlington Commission for the Arts for three years, and is a current Helen Hayes Judge for the region. As her day job, Janet manages her own Public Policy firm – Eye on Washington – located in Arlington, VA.
